Ashley- Indiana has increased its' population from 5,544,159 to 6,080,485 from April 1990 to April 2000. This is a 9% increase over the ten years. It is a little below the year American average which is 13%. It was ranked 14th in 1990 and 14th in 2000. I compared Indiana to Alabama. Indiana has a 1.1% increase over Indiana, so it was bigger.

Lexi- Oklahoma's population on April 1, 2000 was 4,919,479. Its state population increased between 1990 and 2000 by 544,380 people and 12.47%. The percent population change was lower then the national average by 13.1%. If you compare Oklahoma to Minnesota, Oklahoma's population is smaller.
