What are the possible positive and negative aspects of globalization?

Problems could increase and the economy could go down and positive things also come out of it to, you get to learn more cultures and new things from other people who aren't like you at all.

Post# 6: 5 Themes of Geography

1.) Location
A. Absolute Location
1. Absolute Location is position on the globe.
2. The most common way of finding Absolute Location is by using latitude and longitude.
3. By using latitude and longitude, the degrees help find Absolute Location.
B. Relative Location
1. Relative Location is relation compared to other places.
2. Relative Locations can change over time.
3. A place that may have one fixed Absolute Location may have many Relative Locations.

2.) Place
A. Physical Characteristics
1. Places have unique Physical Characteristics depending on its landforms, ecosystems, and climate.
2. Physical Characteristics have different terrains.
3. Weather patterns can be very dramatic.
B. Human Characteristics
1. Places can be described in terms of Human Characteristics.
2. Each place on earth has many types of Human Characteristics.

3.) Regions
A. Formal
1. Formal Regions are areas with certain characteristics in the area.
2. Formal Regions are leaded by the same government with the same laws.
B. Functional
1. Functional Regions consist of a main place with surrounding places affected by it.
2. Functional Regions are linked by flow or movement of something.
C. Perceptual
1. Perceptual Regions are determined by people's feelings and attitudes.
2. Because of the various regions the same place may be found in several different regions.

4.) Movement
A. Places may not exist in isolation because they have different characteristics that move between them.
B. The places move throughout the world.

5.) Human-Environment Interaction
A. Humans have made changes into the environment.
B. People have made intentional and accidental changes and it has helped and not helped the environment.
